Rich Maltzman



Rich Maltzman considers himself a ‘pracademic’ – currently Master Lecturer at Boston University, an author, and a consultant, who provides students and clients with a deep, rich learning experience and/or improved results. He has a 40-year career in telecom, mainly in engineering and project management. He has a BSEE from the University of Massachusetts, an MSIE from Purdue University. He has taught at Shenyang University in China. He is a former VP of Professional Development for PMI MassBay, and was on the Review Committee for the 7th Edition PMBOK® Guide. He has presented on the topics of Quality and PM, Sustainability, and PM Competency at PMI conferences in the US, Italy, Malaysia, Ireland, Costa Rica, Canada, and The Netherlands, where he also lived for two years on an international PMO assignment. He has co-authored several books on PM Sustainability – including the Cleland Award-Winning Green Project Management, and the follow-up Driving Project, Program, and Portfolio Success.
