A PMP/PMI (Project Management Institute) certified and a PRINCE 2, MsP and P3O trained professional, Chris holds a Master Degree (Magna cum Laude) in Commercial and Financial Sciences (Organisation, Finance, Marketing), HIBH/ RUGent. Lately, he obtained a Director Effectiveness certificate from Guberna, the Belgian Institute of Directors. Currently, he prepares for the Board Effectiveness certificate.

In a career spanning more than 3 decades he has held national and global positions in corporate management, operational management, and project delivery.
In roles at the highest levels of an organization, Chris has led the definition, development, planning, management, audit, and review, of projects, programmes, and project portfolios. He has extensive practical experience of leading, coaching, and training staff at all levels.
He has worked effectively in routine situations, or under conditions of crisis: in operations, in commercial and business development, in process improvement, and in the management of change. His current working areas encompass Project Review and Recovery, Interim Management and Independent Directorship.

With more than 30 years of experience working in international environments and leading multicultural teams, Chris is fluent in Dutch, English, and French. He has knowledge of several other European languages.

He specializes in Project Recovery, Project Reviews, Project Portfolio Management, Program and Project Management, Operations Management, Project Management Training, Coaching and Mentoring, Methodology Development, Creating and Managing P3O Offices, Operations Management, Corporate Management.

Having been 10 years in the Board of PMI-Belgium (of which 4 years President), 6 years in PMI's CIAC/EIT and 6 years in PMI's ERC (Ethics Review Committee, of which the President in 2020) and now as a PMIEF Board member.
