Lysan Drabon

Lysan Drabon is the Managing Director for PMI’s (Project Management Institute) Europe region and responsible for regional strategy design and execution, aiming to scale the impact of PMI in the region through enablement and engagement of the entire PMI ecosystem.

Coming from a finance, business and economics background she has been working in the public banking sector (German National Central Bank) for several years, before taking a sabbatical year to travel the world with a global education, volunteering and art performing program (Up with People). After some years into Association Management practices (MCI) working with multiple non-for-profit organizations across industries, Lysan joined PMI in 2010 and supported the growth of the region substantially since then – initially from the community, volunteer and chapter angle; then from 2019 till early 2023 across all PMI functions and stakeholder groups as Head of Operations for Europe.

Lysan is a German national but is since 2008 calling Belgium home.
